Avril Stinson, Director of Development for The Tampa Bay Wave brings tremendous networking, programming, and strategic leadership to the multiple organizations she is involved with.  Avril assists The Wave in attracting the resources needed to continue building an organization that will help Tampa Bay’s tech startup ecosystem realize the vision of a world-class accelerator and other services that will help The Wave grow a critical mass of exciting, job-creating, and fundable tech startups right here in Tampa Bay. Formerly Director of Investor Relations at The Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Avril enjoys the live, work, play lifestyle the Tampa Bay region provides her family. Avril received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from The University of Florida, and her Master’s Degree in Counseling  from Marshall University.
