Scott is a Financial Advisor and that provides clients with a comprehensive, holistic approach to financial planning. He works with business owners and families. Scott spent a portion of his career in management consulting for world class firms such as Accenture, Deloitte Consulting and Salesforce.com. He began his career in the financial advisory space in the 1990’s with A.G. Edwards and Sons out of their office in West Palm Beach, FL.
When describing his practice, Scott says, “With my experience in both the financial advisory and management consulting worlds, I approach my clients exactly as if they are one of my large, enterprise management consulting clients. They are just as important and their challenges are equally as complex. At the end of the day, I help my clients make the “complex” simple and guide them toward finding the most efficient uses of their money.” He further differentiates his practice by making sure his clients pay an equal amount of attention to the risk management side of their planning as they do to the growth side.
A large part of Scott’s focus is on the greatly underserved closely-held business owner market. Statistics show that, on average, business owners rely on their businesses to fund roughly 78% of their retirement needs, yet only 2% know what the value of their business is. Scott provides business valuation services to close this gap and provide the business owner with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that will guide them on the levers they can pull to increase the value of their company.
On a personal level Scott has been married to his wife, Meg, since 1984. They have two daughters and a granddaughter.
