Shawn T Brown was born and proudly raised in Wyandotte County, KCK, and graduate of F.L. Schlagle High School class of 1990, is a self-made entrepreneur, and husband of 27 years to his phenomenal wife Jennifer Brown. He was recognized as Businessman of the year and National Leadership Award from the National Congressional Committee. Through his personal initiative of the more you give the more you receive he has been an advocate for educating others on the how to become an entrepreneur and through Insurance and Financial Services for the past 20+ years. He acquired his Series 3 (commodities), Series 6 & 63, Life, Health, P&C, Real Estate, NMLS licenses for his industry. 

As owner of Sunset Mortgage and Eagle Nationwide Mortgage he spent 10 years in the residential and commercial lending industry. As his organization grew, he partnered with then 13-year NFL WR Eddie Kennison of the Kansas City, Chiefs. Shawn coordinated the purchase of an existing 20-year Kansas real estate firm and appraisal company and rebranded them Kennison & Brown Real Estate “The Official Real Estate Company of The Kansas City Chiefs” and Pious Appraisals. Through another JV Above and Beyond Title Company was formed to assist our mortgage company and clients with escrow closings. As a licensed Real Estate agent, he was responsible for assisting the Chief players in finding housing. As a private real estate investor, he has been instrumental in the purchase, refurbishment, and sale of homes in the Kansas City, KS area as well as investor in 810 Zone a 13,000 sq. ft sports bar and restaurant on the prestigious Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO. 

Shawn is Partner in Bonum Development & Construction Company MOKAN and Ohana Construction Management, he is an Owner/Agent of American Family Insurance Agency, silent partner in BMS Direct Independent Insurance Agency, Partner, and Board Member of NIS (National Institute of Sports) the first of three $30 million-dollar private school design and build projects in partnership with Legacy Sports the first of three $300 million 320 acre completed project in Queen Creek, AZ, the other two will be developed in Tennessee and Texas. Shawn is a Shareholder, and Board Member of CCN (College Coaching Network) headquartered in KCMO. Shawn is proud to be Director/Board Member of Mentoring With Purpose Charities along with being a master networker, Shawn has a Bachelor of Science and Business with a concentration on Management and a Master of Health Care Administration. Shawn continues to strive to be better than the day before by setting and exceeding his goals while not losing sight of his initiative the more you give the more you receive.
