Stephen Newman has always had a passion for helping others. Growing up in Atlanta, GA he assisted his family with a feed the homeless effort during the holidays since he was a kid.  A passion for helping others and a love of math led Stephen to a career in serving others through financial services. Stephen began his career in finance while at Morehouse College through an internship with Chris Gardner (Pursuit of Happyness).

After graduating from Morehouse as an Oprah Scholar with departmental honors in Finance,Stephen moved to Chicago in 2012. In Chicago, Stephen was a research associate for Ariel Investments were he worked alongside the director of research and portfolio managers to conduct analysis and performance for small, smid, mid, focus, and micro cap strategies including producing RFPs/RFIs for over 50 clients.

After 3 years in Chicago, Stephen moved back to his hometown of Atlanta; joining E*TRADE in the elite client services division as an active trader. Stephen loves to travel the world. His favorite places abroad include Cape Town and Jerusalem.
